The Charity manages two vibrant and successful enterprise hubs both near the Centre of Halifax, both very different facilities meeting different needs.  They are the Hanson Lane Enterprise Centre on Hanson Lane itself and the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre on Hopwood Lane.

The Charity offers significant discounts on both its office accommodation and its light industrial units to encourage business start up in the Calderdale area. A new business starting from fresh can expect 50% discount on published rates for the first 9 months of their business life, and 25% discount for the following 18 months. This typically means you only pay £3 sq ft as a new business at Hanson Lane in a light industrial unit and £7.50 sq ft at Elsie Whiteley in our swish Innovation Centre.

Business Advice

At both sites a professional Business Development Manager is employed by the Charity to work one-to-one with businesses, helping them develop their business ideas, write their business plans, make contacts and generally grow their businesses.
