itchen’s head cook Aaron Mclaughlin showed really determination at this years Colour Run at Saville Park, Aaron donning his Halifax Opportunities t-shirt and driving the Outfront van completed the race, got covered in paint powder and raised a smashing £150 for Overgate Hospice in Elland.
Overgate Hospice in Elland raised thousands of pounds at its third annual colour run on Saturday and is thought to have been its best so far. More than 1,200 people took part in Calderdale’s brightest run last year and this year a further 400 people entered.
The run consisted of a 5km route around Savile Park, Halifax, where the runners passed through sponsored stations where they were doused with several colours of powdered paint.
