The boxes contain intercepted food from Supermarkets, which would otherwise go to Landfill. 
Freegan boxes are an initiative of the Calderdale Real Junk Food Project.
The boxes contain intercepted food from supermarkets and people can buy a box for £10 each week.
The Outback Kitchen and Garden is being used as a collection point for pre-ordered boxes from 3 – 5 pm every Friday.
You can order a box online by following this link.
If you do not have access to the internet or a bank account you can order and pay for your box on a Thursday at Jubilee Children’s Centre. You can then collect your box the following Friday (the week after) from The Outback Garden.
