Last week as part of Community Business Weekend 2017 we held a free business networking event at Elsie Whiteley. We welcomed over 20 delegates from across Calderale’s business community for an informative talk on ‘Making Tax Digital’ from Sally Shacklock, Director at Spenser Wilson and received an introduction to HOT from Interim Marketing Manager Alex Beardsley. Delegates got to know each other and talk business over a cup of tea before we went on to The Outback Garden for a tour with gardener Caroline.
We had some great feedback from attendees on Twitter and we now plan on holding a free monthly business networking event at Elsie Whiteley to enable us to spread the word about what we do as a local charity and to support enterprise across Calderdale. Our next event will be held on Thursday 2nd November where we will be discussing GDPR as well as future events and projects at HOT.
