The festive season is really a time for the community to come together and celebrate!
HOT has sponsored a Christmas tree at the Halifax Minster Christmas tree festival for the last few years. Last year the children’s centre nurseries got the glue and glitter out to make decorations, this year the bauble was passed on to our older children, Fun4Youths youth group and what a great job they have done!
The group was initially funded by the Co-op and has proved so popular that we are continuing to deliver it and we’ve had to increase the age cap so some of attendees can stay on in the group!
The group went along to the Minster to adorn the tree with their homemade decorations and squeezed in a trip to the Piece Hall when they had finished.
