‘(F)east’ is a collaboration between The Plant Powered Pop-Up and Halifax Opportunities Trust in support of Community Business Weekend 2019.
On the Saturday 18th May, 12 until 3 pm. Bring a picnic rug and join the Plant Powered Pop Up and HOT for a pay-as-you-feel feast to celebrate Community Business Weekend at The Outback Garden and Kitchen.
We’ll be showcasing the best in Eastern-inspired food and offering tours of the fantastic Outback Garden as well as selling some of our produce.
The Outback is a unique community kitchen and garden based directly behind Jubilee Children’s Centre on Lightowler Road, Halifax. The 1 hectare site runs on organic and sustainable principles and the thriving garden is packed full of herbs, fruit and veg.
As we strive to be as low-impact as possible, please bring plates and cutlery if you can. You can register (so we can gather numbers for food) via Eventbrite.
