Last week some of the HOT team (Alison our CEO, Hilary our Vice Chair, Sabha our Finance Director and Katy our Marketing Assistant) went to Bristol for the annual and always highly anticipated Locality Convention 2018. The convention is a gathering of people (over 500!) who believe in the power of community.
Locality Convention is the biggest sector event of the year! Bringing together hundreds of inspiring members, partners and people working in the community, voluntary and social enterprise sectors.
This year was the first year that Locality held an awards ceremony, the awards have been created to celebrate the most dedicated and inspiring people and organisations in the Locality network. We were beyond delighted to be awarded ‘Enterprising Organisation’. We would like to thank Locality for their continued, invaluable support as well as our teams of hard working staff, volunteers and Trustees who are the ones who make HOT enterprising!
