Rising Stars Youth Mentoring is a unique programme that brings together young people and professionals through mentoring and guidance. Through connecting with young people, committing time and knowledge, mentors can spark change by building aspirations and confidence for young people while gaining new perspectives and professional accomplishments.

We want to hear from you!

We’re seeking local business owners or professionals in a wide range of industries to volunteer their time to this new programme. You’ll work alongside Halifax Opportunities Trust and The Halifax Academy, who will match you with a young person (aged 14/15), based on their career goals and your own career path/journey. Meetings with your mentee will take place on the school premises in school hours, every 2 to three months.
