Packing Supervisor
Description: Working in a busy bakery factory in Brighouse, this role involves organising and supervising a small team in the packing room and being hands-on picking and packing orders
Contract: Permanent contract
Hours: Monday – Friday 1pm – 9pm
Criteria: Must be organised, have excellent communication skills, a good team player, have excellent hygiene standards
Warehouse Assistant
Description: Working in a large re-sale clothing warehouse in HX1 supporting Warehouse Manager with deliveries, sorting of stock
Contract: Full Time (once probation completed)
Hours: 9am – 5pm (Mon – Fri)
Criteria Previous warehouse experience desirable, some heavy lifting involved, good communication skills
Joinery Production Operatives
Description: Working in a fast growing joinery warehouse in HX1 area creating garden rooms
Contract: Permanent contract
Hours: 7am – 4pm (Mon-Fri)
Criteria Joinery/woodwork experience is desirable, willing to work hard and at a fast pace, and good communication skills important
Semi-Skilled Joiners and Installers
Description: Working a fast growing joinery warehouse in HX1 area
Contract: Permanent contract
Hours: 7am – 4pm (Mon – Fri)
Criteria: Joinery qualification or time-served essential. Must be reliable, able to work at a fast pace, excellent communication skills
Installation Manager
Description: Working at a rapidly growing home improvements business based in Copley
Contract: Basic salary of £35-40k per annum with further benefits as would be expected with a role of this level.
Hours: 9am – 5pm (Mon-Fri)
Criteria: This role would be suitable to somebody looking to develop their career and make a step into management from working on the tools. Managing the fitting schedule for the business and ensuring all products, manpower and trades are organised and managed to deliver and exceed client expectation.
Home Care Assistants
Description: Providing care and support to customers in their own homes, following care plans and policies appropriately
Contract: Under 23 £8.50 per hour + Travel time and Mileage if a driver, over 23 £9.50 per hour + Travel time and Mileage if a driver
Hours: Rota based
Criteria: Care Certificate or Level 2 or 3 NVQ or the capacity to complete either qualification is essential. Be able to verbally communicate clearly and effectively with customers, families, advocates and other professionals. Be able to produce a basic written report which is clear and concise.
Operations Scheduler
Description: Home Energy Specialists in HX1 – creating energy efficient, low carbon homes. Working across our four specialties, we offer our customers a comprehensive solution that works for any property.
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Hours: 9am – 5pm (Mon-Fri)
Criteria: This job exists to contribute to the efficient operation and scheduling of the field based engineers, the role is a key element in the installation life cycle. You will be able to multi task whilst working in a fast paced environment to deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
Minibus Drivers
Description: A charity based in Luddenden which provides transport for people in Calderdale and Kirklees who have trouble accessing other forms of transport
Contract: Various hours and shifts available to be agreed with the company
Hours: Shift based
Criteria: The services aims to help people overcome isolation and social exclusion by giving them the chance to get out of their home. D1 Licence essential for this role. Assisting the Passenger Assistants. Must be willing to undergo a DBS check. Excellent communication skills and a positive outlook essential
Passenger Assistants
Description: A charity based in Luddenden which provides transport for people in Calderdale and Kirklees who have trouble accessing other forms of transport
Contract: Various hours and shifts available to be agreed with the company
Hours: Shift based
Criteria: Assisting passengers, drivers and contributing to a safe and efficient Transport Service. Personal or professional experience of working with vulnerable people is desirable although training will be provided for suitable applicants. Must be willing to undergo a DBS check. Food Poverty Coordinator
Description: This role is part of a wider voluntary and community sector infrastructure support service, working closely with Public Health and Anti-Poverty teams of Calderdale Council
Contract: Permanent Contract
Hours: 30 hours Per Week
Criteria: To work as part of a team to address Food Poverty. The post holder will respond to national and local challenges including any transport/import implications to the UK food distribution systems post Brexit, the increases in cost of living and fuel energy prices.
Volunteer Development Officer
Description: This post will support and sustain the development of volunteering opportunities across Calderdale including delivering a quality volunteer matching service, working with VCSE organisations in developing and promoting valued volunteering roles as well as identifying opportunities in working with corporate partners around employee volunteering initiatives and corporate social responsibility.
Contract: Permanent Contract
Hours: 30 hours a week
Criteria: Proven background in developing and delivering volunteer programmes to a wide range of groups and organisations is essential. previous experience of providing support to both organisations
